BRAVO LEGACY SOCIETY
Have you remembered the Van Wezel Foundation in your estate planning, will, bequest, or as a beneficiary?
To provide for the successful future of our mission and support the Hall and Foundation’s many community outreach and education programs, please consider a gift through our Bravo Legacy Society program to ensure the legacy of your commitment for generations to come.
The Bravo Legacy Society program was established to recognize and honor dedicated individuals and families like yourselves who are inspired to leave a legacy gift to sustain the future of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The Society is a circle of friends with a shared vision and commitment to the future of the organization and its mission to create a world-class Performing Arts Center that enriches the community, supports arts education and inspires young minds. Members of the Bravo Legacy Society enjoy special mailings and events during the year to celebrate other friends and benefactors, to keep up to date on the Foundation’s progress, and learn from keynote speakers. However, if you prefer, membership can also remain anonymous.
Legacy gifts may be made by individuals to programs or to the general endowment fund. If you have already included the Van Wezel Foundation in your will or estate plan, please let us know so we can welcome you to the Bravo Legacy Society.
There are several ways in which you can express your generosity and support of the Foundation, including (but not limited to):
- Providing an outright bequest or distribution to the Foundation in your will or trust (revocable or irrevocable);
- Designating the Foundation as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan;
- Making lifetime gifts of cash or marketable securities;
- Implementing more advanced charitable planning techniques such as charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts.
There may be tax and estate planning benefits to you in connection with each of these methods. We urge you to consult your professional advisor(s) to determine the optimum approach for you. We are always happy to work with you and your advisors to help develop a plan tailored to your wishes.
