LOUISE APPLETON, VWF FOUNDING MEMBER, REMEMBERED

The Van Wezel Foundation has lost a great supporter and advocate. Louise Appleton, a founding member of the Van Wezel Foundation passed away in April. At a recent Foundation Board of Directors meeting members paid tribute to this great woman.

Phil Delaney, Vice Chair of the Foundation remembered Louise as not only a great friend of the Hall and the Foundation, but she was truly a bright , pioneering and influential woman. John Dart, a long standing Board member, also remembered Louise with great respect adding that she was a terrific board member.

In addition to her charity work in Massachusetts and Maine, Louise was a long-time board member at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
