ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE.  Many people may not realize that the Van Wezel Foundation operates as a partner but independently of the city owned and operated Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.  Established in 1987, the Foundation is a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has directed millions of dollars in support of the Hall's capital improvements, programs and ongoing educational efforts. 

OUR MISSION IS...to enrich lives of members of the Gulf Coast community, with an emphasis on children, through the performing arts while supporting the needs of the Van Wezel - the region’s premier performing arts hall.

Van Wezel Foundation, Inc. meets all requirements specified by the Florida Solicitation of Contributions Act.  A copy of the official registration #CH3676 and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling 1-800-435-7352 within the state.  Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the state.
